The rise of crowd funding CRE platforms, integrated funding solutions and programs like commercial PACE financing gaining traction provides developers, owners and mortgage brokers new financing options to round out a capital stack. What is crowd funding, who are the players and what is the general process? How is CPACE financing layered into a capital stack, what are the benefits, and what types of projects are a good fit? From a structuring standpoint, how do these newer tranches of capital work within a more traditional capital stack? These financial tools and others can lower overall cost of capital, provide additional leverage, and help get deals across the finish line.
